I caught up with The Young Knives backstage at a recent gig on their Off The Beaten Track tour and drilled them for the lowdown on their success story from winning the Road To V a couple of years back to touring the world with two albums under their belt. Funnily enough I met them just before their gig at The Venue in Derby which is a mere stone’s throw from their humble beginnings in Ashby-de-la-Zouch (yes that really is a name of a towm in the East Midlands). The brilliant news is that they’ll be returning to the hallowed fields of Chelmsford and Stafford this year as they join the lineup for the UK VFestival.
